We believe in one God, the Creator and Lord of heaven and earth. He is the eternal Lord, immutable, self-existent, Redeemer of humanity, of whom are all things. (Exodus 3: 14, 1 Corinthians 8: 6, 2 Corinthians 1: 3)
We believe in the eternal Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before time existed. The Lord Jesus was begotten and not made as He came from the same divine nature and essence as the Father. The eternal word became a Man and dwelt on the earth as the Holy Spirit conceived the virgin birth. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and rose again from the grave for our salvation. He ascended to the sit at the right hand of the Father as our faithful High Priest and intercedes for the church, and He is coming back again. He will judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will endure forever. We believe in the Holy Spirit who comes from the Father and the Son. He is the third person of the Godhead, the giver of life, and is to be worshipped and adored. The Holy Spirit exalts Jesus and reveals Him to the hearts of men and women, leading them to all truth and the conviction of sin. He baptizes people with the Holy Spirit and gives spiritual gifts to the church to preach the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ and edify the body of Christ for the work of the ministry. We believe in one God, three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each Person of the Godhead is coequal and eternally exists in perfect unity as one. (Genesis 1: 1-5, Matthew 3: 16-17, John 17: 1-5, Acts 5: 3-4)
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative word of God. The Holy Spirit spoke through holy men of God that penned the sacred Scriptures. The entire canon of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is profitable for all Christian doctrine concerning faith and conduct. (Matthew 13: 52, 2 Timothy 3: 16-17, 2 Peter 1: 20-21, Hebrews 4: 12)
The church is the collective body of saints across the world who have come to saving faith in Christ. Each congregation is a localized expression of the church, charged with worshipping the Lord, preaching the gospel, and fulfilling the Great Commission, equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, and being the hands and feet of Jesus in their communities. (Matthew 28: 19-20, Acts 2: 1-5, 40-47, 4: 32-35, Ephesians 4: 7-16)
The church has two ordinances given by the Lord: water baptism and Communion. Baptism in water, by full immersion, is a commandment from God for all believers who are willingly professing their faith in Christ. When a believer is baptized, they are identifying with His death and burial and rising again to a new life in Him. (Matthew 28: 19-20, Acts 2: 38-39, Romans 6: 1-11)
On the night before He was betrayed and went to the cross, the Lord Jesus instituted Communion as an ordinance that would be continuously observed until He returns. In remembrance of His salvific work, at the table of the Lord His followers receive the bread which is His body, and the cup which is His shed blood of the New Covenant, for the forgiveness of sins and healing. (Isaiah 53: 5, Matthew 26: 26-30, Mark 14: 22-26, Luke 22: 14-23, John 6: 53-58, 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26)
Evil and darkness came into the world when Adam and Eve sinned and fell in the Garden of Eden. Adam's sin has caused all to be subjected to the power of the devil and be separated from God. (Genesis 3, 4: 1-15, Romans 3: 23, 5: 12-14)
The free gift of salvation is available to all who would call on and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are living in the dispensation of grace where anyone can repent of their sins and receive the salvation of Christ. There is a day coming when this age will close, leading to the end of all things. (Matthew 22: 1-14, 25: 1-13, John 3: 16-17, Romans 5: 15-21, Ephesians 3: 1-7)
